What time are check-in and check-out?

The Reception is not staffed 24 hours a day: 10:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m / 3:30 p.m to 7:00 p.m

Where is the property and how can I/we reach it?

The property is located in Lavagna (GE-ITALY), Via Aurelia 793

Driving Directions by car/motobike

a) From Genoa recommended exit highway A12 - Chiavari.
On the road SS1, towards La Spezia. / 800 mt. after the railway station of Lavagna, Hotel Valentino is located on the left as per sign. / Pedestrian crossing indicated by the sign placed on the sidewalk before the red house.

b) From La Spezia recommended exit highway A12 - Sestri Levante.
State direction SS1, towards Genoa. / On the long straight line, Hotel Valentino is located on the right immediately after the car dealer. / Pedestrian crossing indicated by the sign placed on the sidewalk after the red house.

Directions by train

Lavagna railway station. Keep right at the exit and continue for 800 metres. If travelling by bus, the stop is the second one after the station. The Hotel Valentino is on the left, as indicated by the sign. / Pedestrian crossing indicated by the sign on the pavement before the red house.

Is parking available at the hotel?

The hotel has a private, uncovered car park inside the courtyard with limited spaces. Internal parking is only allowed for loading and unloading. Paying and/or free parking nearby.

Does the hotel have an elevator?

The hotel has a lift serving all floors, but not accessible to wheelchair users.

What accessibility features are available at the hotel?

There are two access points: the main side entrance via a staircase, and the service entrance at the rear with direct access and a lift, which can be reached by going down one step.
The hotel is not accessible for guests with disabilities as the lift entrance is too narrow for wheelchairs and there are steps.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Latest generation Wi-Fi, up to 3000 Mbps.

Are pets allowed?

No Pet-Friendly.

Is luggage storage available?

Yes, it is.

What amenities are included in the rooms?

Free Wi-Fi connection / Air conditioning / Heating / Mini fridge (consumption charged separately) / Hairdryer / Safe and safety deposit box / TV / Kettle on request / Complimentary toiletries / Linen / Luggage rack.

Is a city tax required?

The city tax is not included in the room rate and has to be paid directly at the hotel, except for exemptions and reductions provided for by Municipal Regulation.

What credit cards are accepted?

All except the American Express circuit.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

How does check-in work at the hotel?

Upon arrival as provided by national law, all guests has to provide a valid identity document in order to communicate their presence to the competent police authorities. Otherwise, the Direction refuses hospitality (Article 109 of the P.S. Act, as amended by Article 7(2) of L.203/95).

Under Article 13 of the Privacy Code (D. Legisl. 679/16), all personal data of guests will be processed as to fulfill fiscal and legislative obligations. Entire regulation exposed at the Reception.

PAYMENT for reservations: after paying the deposit within the established terms, the balance will be paid at check-in by credit card or cash, subject to the maximum limit.

For customers without reservations, 100% payment will be made at check-in.

Is early check-in possible?

Early check-in is subject to availability and has to be requested at Reception. In any case, if possible, between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Is late check-out possible?

Late check-out (service subject to availability): from 10:00 a.m to 5.00 p.m. Extra fees.

What are the reception hours?

CHECK-IN from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. / CHECK-OUT at 10:00 a.m.
As the Reception is not open 24 hours a day, it is essential to indicate the estimated arrival time.

PROPERTY & SERVICES

Is a transfer service available?

No, it isn’t. However, we can provide a replacement service.

Is there a charging station for electric cars?

Not available.

Are children allowed at the property?

No. Only adults aged 14 and over.

Does the hotel have a private beach?

The hotel does not have a private beach. However, directly opposite the hotel, there is a beach equipped with a kiosk and refreshment point, where you can use sun loungers and parasols upon reservation. There is no agreement with the hotel. If you wish, you can book directly. Ask at the hotel reception.

Are beach towels provided?

Yes, with a small extra charge.

Are accessible rooms available?

Not for people with disabilities.

BREAKFAST & BAR

Is breakfast included?

Continental breakfast included. English breakfast available at an extra charge.

What time is breakfast served?

From 7:30 a.m to 10:00 a.m.

Where is breakfast served?

In the breakfast room on the second floor, with a full sea view.

What type of breakfast is served?

Buffet service. Includes hot drinks (coffee, cappuccino, tea), fruit juices, bread, rusks, biscuits, jams, butter, honey, croissants, cereals and yogurt. English breakfast is available on request at an additional cost.

Are gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan options available?

On request.

Is there a bar on site?

Yes, it is.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

What is your cancellation policy?

For the SEMIFLEXIBLE rate, cancellations without penalty are accepted up to 14 days prior to the arrival date by 5 p.m. Italian time (e.g., if the arrival date is 20/07, cancellations will be free of charge until 5 p.m. on 06/07).

After the cancellation deadline, the hotel will charge the deposit amount to the credit card provided.

In the event of cancellation of the reservation more than 14 days before check-in or no-show, the customer will lose the entire amount of the deposit, which, as provided for by Article 1385 of the Civil Code, will not be refunded.

For the FLEXIBLE rate, cancellations of the reservation without penalties are foreseen up to 2 days of the arrival date by 5:00 pm – Italian time (example: if the arrival date is 20/07 the cancellation will be free until 5:00 pm on 18/07).

The hotel is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies or changes to schedules after the cancellation deadline.

PAYMENT:
When booking, a deposit is required by bank transfer or prepaid card. The deposit does not include city tax and optional services.

If the deposit is not received immediately, the booking will be automatically deleted and the Management will put the unconfirmed rooms back on sale.

The balance will be paid by credit card or cash up to the maximum limit upon arrival. NO CHEQUES.

For guests without a reservation, 100% payment will be made upon arrival.

INVOICE:
Guests must provide the required information at the time of booking or at least one day before departure. Otherwise, a simple receipt will be issued without the possibility of subsequent cancellation.

Confirmation deposit:
Guests must notify us at the time of booking if they require an invoice for the deposit as well. Otherwise, a simple receipt will be issued without the possibility of subsequent cancellation.
